About SNEHIL

SNEHIL, also known as the Sharda Memorial Trust, came into existence on December 20, 2004, and received official registration on January 5, 2005. Its establishment was bolstered by the noble vision of providing comprehensive assistance in healthcare, education, vocational training, and support to women, children, and marginalized individuals in society.

SNEHIL strives to actively participate in various social initiatives, catering to individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring equal opportunities regardless of gender, age, religion, or financial status.

Our Activities

SNEHIL (Shraddha Memorial Trust) actively engages in a variety of initiatives to support the community, including:

  • Organize health check-up camps for the general public.
  • Conducting health awareness talks for the community, both in-person and online.
  • Hosting Continuing Medical Education Seminar for health professionals
  • Providing financial assistance for:
    • Medical treatment for patients in need.
    • Marriage ceremony for girls, either independently or in collaboration with organizations like Rotary Club Foundation.
    • Educational support
  • Distributing essential items such as clothing, footwear, blankets, and quilts during winters, as well as umbrellas.
  • Holding award ceremonies to celebrate and honor individuals and professionals who made significant contribution to society.
  • Distributing food in various forms:
    • Offering assistance in kind by providing essential food items like wheat flour, cereals, and cooking oil to those in need.
    • Serving cooked meal through community kitchens, or “langars”

During the COVID lockdown, SNEHIL (Sharda Memorial Trust) demonstrated its commitment to supporting the community by distributing around 500 packaged, ready-to-use food packets in collaboration with Safdarjung Police Station authorities.
